Measurable Change, Lasting Impact

Turning loss into prevention across school campuses, Simmons 3 uses impaired driving as the entry point to a much larger conversation about decision-making, responsibility, and consequence.

We challenge students to look beyond the moment, recognize the impact of their choices, and understand that who they are is defined by what they do when it matters most.

On December 17, 2021, an impaired driving crash took the lives of Lindy, Christopher, and Kamryn. In the months that followed, the first speaking engagement was delivered at the Louisiana District Attorneys Association Staff Conference. Simmons 3 was officially founded on December 16, 2022.

In June 2022, Simmons 3 partnered with Sudden Impact to film and integrate its story into their prevention curriculum, marking the beginning of program implementation. During that first year, we delivered 5 presentations reaching 681 individuals, proving that personal storytelling creates real awareness and lasting impact.

Simmons 3 expanded into more schools across Louisiana as demand for the program continued to grow. During this year, we delivered 33 presentations reaching 2,478 students, a 260% increase in reach.

Simmons 3 scaled significantly, reaching more students and schools than ever before. We delivered 40 presentations impacting 7,385 students, nearly tripling reach in a single year and marking a major step forward in program growth.

Simmons 3 continues to expand its reach, with programs delivered throughout the year and additional engagements completed as the year comes to a close. With over 5,200 individuals reached, the program is maintaining strong momentum and continuing to grow its impact in schools and communities.
